Australian Tour 2001 - Press conference

Nana talks about her Australian tour at a press conference at the Hilton Hotel, Melbourne, Australia

"Well, you know the years have gone by and everytime I go somewhere, I say it may be the last. You don't know what is going to happen the next time.

So I was already very fortunate that I came into the year 2000. I never thought I would get that far.

So, in appreciation of that 2000, new century, I said to myself that I ought to go really to places that have been very important to me, so that was my wish to come to Australia a year ago, but we couldn't make the date.

When you see the reception that I have from the people, I say "No, it cannot be the last time". (Laughs) It is wonderful.

But whatever you do in life, you have to do in the best way, thinking that you may never have the chance to come back. So everytime has to be the first and the last.

So that is why I say so, maybe I would be lucky to come back, may be not, but at least this must be the best ever."
